Here are 20 poems written on my typewriter at Skooliepalooza, America’s largest vehicle nomad gathering. The last ten are all from today, when I set up my street poetry stand in the neighborhood to write personal poems, live, for my nomad friends. Stay tuned for my upcoming piece about these last few months of becoming a San Francisco Street Poet, writing hundreds of spontaneous poems for strangers outside City Lights Bookstore. But here in Arizona, where the desert dust sticks to my typewriter keys, there is more than enough inspiration for a whole collection of Skoolie Poems.

Please become a paid subscriber to read the remaining 15 poems. They’re high quality, and typically go for around $20 a poem; Beatin’ Paths is a steal for real art. The last few poems from today are some of the best, as I hit my stride riffing live for people I love.
